They complete 4 years of pre-med undergraduate college education followed by 4-5 academic years of professional study at an accredited chiropractic college.

Is it safe to have your neck adjusted?
Yes, chiropractic is widely recognized as one of the safest drug free noninvasive therapy for the treatment of neuromuscular skeletal complaints. There are risks associated with all health care practices. With chiropractic care the risks are minimal. Neck-manipulation when performed by a skilled and well-educated professional is a remarkably safe procedure. Most patients feel some immediate relief. However, some may experience some mild soreness, aching, or stiffness. Very similarly to what one might experience after exercise. Very rarely with high velocity upper neck manipulation, a certain rare kind of stroke or vertebral artery dissection has been associated. These same dissections are associated with many every day activities such as turning their head while driving, swimming, and having their hair shampooed at the salon.

How many times a week should I be adjusted?
